2014 (At USF): Fairs was named to the first-team all-AAC as a junior. Erin earned Capital One Cup Performance of the Week Honors after a 22-kill, 16-dig effort in win over Auburn. She was named MVP title at the Active Ankle Challenge as well as being named to the USF Invitational All-Tournament Team. She was selected as Mortar Board Premier All-Tournament Team member while receiving six conference honor roll selections including three consecutive selections from Sept. 8 - Sept. 22. Honored as The American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 27 after posting 33 kills and 28 digs against Tulane and SMU, she recorded eight 20+ kill matches including a career-best of 27 at UCF. She posted 24 double-doubles out of the 32-match season, including 11 consecutive at the end of the season. Totalling a career-high of 35 digs vs. SMU, putting her third on the digs-per-match record list, she also notched a total of 489 kills and 481 digs, improving her to eighth and fourth on the career kills and digs lists, respectively.
2013 (At USF): As a sophomore Erin earned All-Region Honorable Mention and was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Year and to the all-conference first team. She earned three consecutive Player of the Week honors between Oct. 14-28 and earned three honor roll selections. Appearing in 31 matches for the Bulls, and leading the team in kills, digs and points, she notched a conference-high 429 kills, averaging 3.73 kills per set and 3.97 kills in conference play. Erin tallied 507 digs, averaging 4.41 per set - registering the most digs per set at her postion in the nation and placing her sixth on USF's all-time season records list. She collected 23 double-doubles in 31 matches. Along the way, she earned All-Tournament honors at the Bluejay Invitational after averaging 4.0 kills and 4.8 digs per set over three matches. She set a new career high in digs, with 25 against Northern Colorado and was named to the All-USF Tournament team after collecting 19 kills and adding 23 digs against Austin Peay. She finished the tournament with 80 digs and 56 kills. She set a career high in kills (26) and serve aces (5) against Cincinnati.
2012 (At USF): Fairs appeared in all 32 matches for the Bulls, leading the team in kills with 316 while notching 313 digs, most on the team outside of the libero, becoming a six-rotation player partway through the season. Named BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, she collected her first-career double-double with 17 kills and 11 digs in a five-set win over UCF August 26. She set season high in digs with 20 while posting 15 kills as Bulls topped Cincinnati and was named Big East Freshmen of the Week. Fairs posted career-high 18 kills in five-set loss against Connecticut and had a season high .435 attack percentage vs CMU. She recorded a season high 5 blocks vs GU.
High School/Club: As a four-year starter at Foster High School under head coach Tara Domel, Fairs was named First Team All District in 2010 and was Honorable Mention All Texas Team in 2010. She made the Under Armour "All American Watch List" in 2011. She also played for Southwest Juniors club team as well as for the Absolute Volleyball Academy (AVA) under head coaches Christy Crislip and Katy Garza. Fairs also played basketball and track.
Personal: She is the daughter of Charlet and Eric Fairs. Born on August 14, 1994. Plans to major in business.
