Sophomore: Lacey was named All-BIG EAST as a sophomore. She competed in two events in the BIG EAST championships. In the 50-free, she made the A-final, finishing with a time of 23.41 for eighth place. She also competed in the 200-free relay where she posted a split time of 22.69 and her team finished in 1:30.08. The relay team finished in first place, setting a pool record and qualifying for the national B cut.
Freshman: As a freshman, Lacey stepped in and started scoring points for the Cardinals. She made the A-final in the 50-free where she finished seventh. She also made the Consols in the 100-fly.
Prep: Lacey joined the Cards from Pflugerville, Texas where she was coached by Aubrey Knapper as a member of the Texas Gold Swim Team. As a six-time High School All-American, Lacey was a key member of her high school's state championship 200 medley relay in both 2006 and 2007. She also brings to the Cards national success, attaining 2nd place honors as a contributor on the 200-and 400-medley relay teams at the Junior National Championships in 2006. In 2007 she was a section finalist in the 100-fly and a statefinalist in the 50-free, receiving All-conference, All- State, and team MVP honors. Favorite sporting memory was breaking a sixteen-year-old national record in the 200-freestyle relay when she was nine.
Personal: She is the daughter of Meme Bobo and Tim Bobo. Major is marketing. Born September 11, 1989. She is the younger sister of former Cardinal swimmer Peyton Bobo.
