Junior: Aileen qualified for the USA National Championships in addition to being named the BIG EAST Swimmer of the Week in November. During the BIG EAST Championships, she competed in the 50- and 100-free, the 200- and 400-medley relays, the 200- and 400-free relays, and the 100-breast. She finished second in the 50-free with a time of 22.95 and was one of two swimmers to make the national B-cut. Aileen also swam to a second-place finish in the 100-free with another B-cut worthy time (49.95). She swam the freestyle leg of the 200- and 400-medley relays and recorded splits of 22.22 and 49.95. In the 200, she led the team to a first-place finish with a B-cut time of 1:38.43, and in the 400, the team's B-cut mark of 3:37.29 was good for second; both times set new school records. In the 200- and 400-free relays, Aileen swam the first leg with split times of 22.92, the fastest split in the race, and 50.10, the second fastest. She helped her team to a first-place finish in the 200 with a final B-cut time of 1:31.44, and in the 400, her squad earned a second-place finish with a final B-cut time of 3:19.91. In the 100-breast, Aileen touched with a time of 1:02.66, earning a sixth-place finish.
Sophomore: Aileen qualified for the NCAAs last year where she swam the third leg of the 200-free relay, going 22.65 for 11th place in the nation.She competed in the 50- and 100-free and the 200-medley relay for the Cardinals during her sophomore year. She finished second against Miami of Ohio and fourth against Notre Dame in the 50-free.
Freshman: Joining the sprint squad, Aileen finaled in the 50-free at the BIG EAST where she wen23.65. She scored in the 50- and 100-free in the dual meet season including a win in the 100-free against BIG EAST rival Cincinnati. Prep: Aileen comes to U of L from Lawrenceville, Georgia where she was a member of the Peachtree Ridge High School and Swim Atlanta swim programs. This high school Honors graduate was the Georgia State High School Champion in the 50-free in both 2006 and 2007 and a runner-up finish in 2008. She holds eight of her high school's team records and received MVP honors all four years of her high school swimming career.
