Bio
Senior: In the dual meet against Xavier, Foulke won the 200 individual medley (1:53.62), finished third in the 100 breaststroke (59.36), and placed fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.54). For his performances in both the pool and in the classroom, Foulke was awarded ACC Honor Roll honors.
Junior: Foulke continued to provide depth in the breaststroke events throughout his junior season, qualifying for the ACC Championships squad for the third straight year. At ACCs, he scored 14.5 points, including a 12th place finish in the 200 breast with a time of 1:56.61. He also added a strong showing at the IU Invitational, finishing 15th in the 400 IM with a time of 3:57.79 and 17th in the 200 breast with a 1:59.82. In the dual meet season, Foulke scored points in three of the Cards’ victories, including a win in the 200 breast against Xavier.
Sophomore: Foulke scored valuable points for the Cardinals at the ACC Championships, placing 15th in the 400 IM (3:51.02) and 21st in the 200 IM (1:46.71). He also competed in the 200 breast, touching in a time of 2:01.42. At the 2017 Winter National Championships, he qualified for finals in the 400 IM (3:53.31), as well as the 200 breast (2:05.26). Foulke also competed at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Columbus, where he recorded a top-eight finish in the 200-meter IM with a time of 2:05.93 and finished 12th in the 400-meter IM (4:27.16) and 13th in the 200-meter breast (2:18.98). In the Cards’ victory over Kentucky, he scored points in the 200 breast, finishing fifth in a time of 2:04.49.
Freshman: Keegan made an immediate impact for the Cardinals in both the breaststroke and IM events. At the ACC Championships, he totaled 43.5 points, highlighted by a sixth place finish in the 400 IM (3:46.86). He also qualified for finals in the 200 IM (1:46.34) and the 200 breast (1:57.09), placing 19th and 13th respectively. At the World Championship Trials in Indy, he swam the 200-meter breast (2:18.47) and the 400-meter IM (4:29.87). He also competed in the Arena Pro Swim Series at Atlanta, finishing as high as 13th in the 400-meter IM, while also swimming the 100-meter breast, 200-meter breast, 200-meter IM, and 200-meter free. At the UofL Invitational, Keegan posted top-eight finishes in the 200 IM (1:49.13), 400 IM (3:49.50), and 200 breast (1:58.79). He also took second in the 200 breast in the Cardinals’ win over Xavier.
Prep: Foulke is from Arvada, Colo. where he competes for the Jeffco Hurricanes and Pomona High School. He was an Olympic Trials qualifier in the 400 IM and is a Colorado HS 5A state champion in the 200 IM. Foulke is a recipient of multiple accolades which include both individual and relay conference, state and All-American Honors. He is a team captain and an Academic All-State honoree. His best time in the 400-IM is 3:50.49 with a 9:08.11 in the 1000-free and a 1:59.46 in the 200-breast.
