Ashley Pauly is in her second season as Director of Softball Operations after joining the staff in October 2016.
Pauly joined the Cardinals serving as the Director of Softball Operations and an instructor at Seventh Inning Softball in Atlanta for the last two years. While there, she helped grow the sport of softball in the region, developing partnerships with local softball organizations and scheduling lessons, practices, tournaments and workouts.
Prior to that, she worked with the Australian Baseball League for the Adelaide Bite within the baseball operations department. In that position, she assisted with marketing and promotions and game day operations. Â
Pauly was a four-year starter at the University of Georgia where she helped the Bulldogs to a pair of final four finishes in the Women’s College World Series (2009 and 2010). During her time at Georgia, the second baseman helped her team reach a Super Regional in each of her seasons and earn the program’s first No. 1 ranking during her junior season.
Pauly was successful both on and off the field, during her collegiate career, earning all-SEC Academic honors and serving as the team representative on Georgia’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in December, 2012, Pauly served as a graduate assistant with the softball program while working on her Master’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Sports Management and Policy.
