First Season (2008): Played in 10 games for the Cards as the backup goalkeeper... Had career-high five saves in Cards' win over UC Davis... Finished with a goals allowed average of 9.95 and a save percentage of .483.
Prior to U of L: Attended Ohio University where she sat out her first year after the announcement to discontinue the lacrosse program. She petitioned and was granted an additional first year by the NCAA at U of L.
High School: Earned four varsity letters in lacrosse for coach Bill Eichenger... During her senior season, she was named team captain, First Team All-Catholic, First Team All-State, Honorable Mention All-America, led her team to a state championship appearance, was awarded the Outstanding Athlete Award for lacrosse and was the recipient of the Jay Spilecki Memorial Scholarship... As a junior, she was named First Team All-State and First Team All-Catholic... As a sophomore, she was First Team All-Catholic and Second Team All-State... Also earned two varsity letters in field hockey for coach Bill Eichenger.
Personal: Born Kendra Alexis Burawski on May 15, 1988... Daughter of Donald and Virginia Burawski... She has two siblings, Greta (35) and Cory (31)... Majoring in exercise science/physical therapy... Father Donald played football collegiately at the University of Minnesota and the University of Delaware.
Q&A with Kendra: Athletic goal is to win an NCAA Championship at the University of Louisville... Post-college ambition is to be in sports medicine or physical therapy... Two reasons she chose U of L were the potential of the new team and the coaching staff... Best moment of her athletic career was beating Cape in the first round of the state tournament and advancing to the state championship during her senior season... Best advice she's ever received was play like your the best (from her dad)... Her most prized possessions are her stick and her car...
