Senior: Did not compete in 2020-21.
Junior: Sos continued to make a statement during his junior campaign, qualifying for the NCAA Championships in the 200 individual medley before the meet was cancelled. At the ACC Championships, he finished fifth in the 200 individual medley (1:43.27), eighth in the 200 breaststroke (1:55.67), and 17th in the 400 individual medley (3:47.97). He won the 400 individual medley (3:45.17), was the runner-up in the 200 individual medley (1:44.86), and took fourth in both the 200 backstroke (1:45.82) and 200 breaststroke (1:58.19) at the Purdue Invitational before going on to finish sixth in the 200-meter individual medley (2:00.18) and seventh in the 400 individual medley (4:21.68) at the Toyota U.S. Open. Sos won nine events throughout dual meet competition, including winning both the 200 backstroke and 200 individual medley against Indiana, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Kentucky. For his performances in both the pool and in the classroom, Sos was awarded ACC Honor Roll and CSCAA Scholar All-America honors. He was also named to the CSCAA All-American team in the 200 individual medley.
Sophomore: Sos qualified for his second consecutive NCAA Championships as a sophomore, earning Honorable Mention All-American honors in the 400 IM with a 14th place finish in a time of 3:44.23. Sos also competed in the 200 fly (1:47.02) and broke his own school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:43.39 at NCAAs. At the ACC Championships, Sos registered fourth place finishes in both the 200 IM and 400 IM and finished 23rd in the 200 fly to score 54 points for the Cards. At the IU Invitational, Sos recorded a number of top finishes, highlighted by a second place showing in the 400 IM with a time of 3:47.10. He also finished 11th in the 200 breast with a personal best time of 1:58.51. Throughout the dual meet season, Sos tallied 15 top-three finishes with a sweep of the IM events in the win over Virginia. For his efforts in the classroom, Sos was named to the All-ACC Academic Team. While representing his native Hungary, Sos finished sixth in the 200m IM (2:00.72) and 19th in the 400m IM (4:23.81) at the 2019 World University Games in Napoli, Italy.
Freshman: Sos joined the Cardinals midway through the season and made an immediate splash in the IM and middle-distance events. He qualified for the NCAA Championships, placing 22nd in the 200 IM (1:43.40), 23rd in the 400 IM (3:43.25) and 28th in the 200 fly (1:43.70). At the ACC Championships, Sos earned a bronze medal in the 200IM with a time of 1:43.86. He also scored points in the 400 IM with a fourth place finish (3:42.86) and the 200 back with a 13th place finish (1:43.09). Sos competed at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Mesa, winning bronze in the 400-meter IM (4:22.98) and 200-meter IM (2:04.34) and placing seventh in the 200-meter fly (2:04.00). In the Cards’ win over Kentucky, Sos tallied wins in both the 100 (49.31) and 200 back (1:46.11). He also registered a win in the meet against Indiana with a time of 3:48.31 in the 400 IM.
