Junior: Did not compete in 2020-21.
Sophomore: In his first season with the Cardinals, Parrott solidified himself as one of the top breaststrokers. He won the 200 breaststroke (1:56.98) and took second in the 100 breaststroke (54.37) at the UofL First Chance Invitational before going on to finish second in the former event (1:57.17) at the NCAA Last Chance Meet. At the Purdue Invitational, he placed sixth in the 200 breaststroke (1:59.17) and seventh in the 100 breaststroke (54.54). Throughout dual meet competition, Parrott recorded eight top-six finishes highlighted by a second-place showing in the 100 breaststroke (57.56) against Xavier. For his performances in both the pool and in the classroom, Parrott was awarded ACC Honor Roll honors.
Prior to Louisville: Parrott joins the Cardinals after spending one year at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. While competing for the Panthers, Parrott competed in the 50 free, 100 breast, and 200 breast at the 2019 GLVC Championships and recorded three top-5 finishes during the dual meet season.
Prep: A native of Houston, Texas, Parrott swam for Spring High School where he earned NISCA All-American honors and All-State honors in the 100 breast. Also competing year-round with Spring Swim Team under head coach Michael Hernandez, Parrott was a Junior National qualifier in both breaststroke events. He owns best times of 54.95 in the 100 breast and 2:02.85 in the 200 breast.
