Ryan Quintos Named to ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Watch List

Quintos is one of 15 student-athletes selected to the conference's preseason watch list and was also selected as one of the Cardinals' team captains for the 2026 season.
Quintos returns for his second season with the Cardinals after making an immediate impact in 2025. He played in 10 matches and started all 10, logging 864 minutes before his season was cut short due to injury.
The defender found the back of the net twice in 2025, including a dramatic equalizer against Kentucky. Quintos scored in the 89th minute to help Louisville earn a 1-1 draw against the Wildcats. He also scored in Louisville's contest against Southern Indiana.
Louisville was picked 14th in the 2026 ACC Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll, while NC State was selected as the preseason favorite with eight first-place votes and 183 points. Stanford followed in second with 171 points, while Virginia placed third with 161 points.
