Haley RIchards leads the nation in save percentage, saves, saves per game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville's Haley Richards has been named an Inside Lacrosse Midseason Media All-America honorable mention the publication announced today.

Richards has been impressive in her first season as Louisville's starting goalie. The sophomore from Moraga, Calif., leads Division I with a .543 save percentage along with 152 saves, averaging a nation-best 12.67 stops per game.

In the Cardinals' win over Florida State, she registered 19 saves, establishing a program record for single game saves. Throughout the season, Richards has produced double-digit stops in nine of Louisville's 12 games while collecting six wins. She currently stands fifth on Louisville's single-season list with 152 saves and is ninth all-time with 159 career stops.

The Cardinals have faced four top-25 teams this season and are set to travel to No. 10 Stanford for an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Saturday.
