LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Former University of Louisville lacrosse standout Nicole Perroni was selected by the Boston Guard in the Women's Lacrosse League 2026 Supplemental Draft.

During the draft, each of the league's four teams selected players to expand their rosters from 13 to 19 players in preparation for the WLL's inaugural regular season this summer.
Â
"We're incredibly proud of Nicole," said UofL head coach Scott Teeter. "She's prepared for this moment, and we know she'll make an impact right away. Nicole continues to be a great representation of our UofL lacrosse family."Â
Â
Perroni played for the Cardinals from 2020-24, earning IWLCA Second Team All-America honors in 2024. She ended her Louisville career on a 55-game point scoring streak and a 54-game goal scoring streak, both the longest streaks in program history. In her final collegiate season, she tallied 45 goals and 10 assists and led the team with a total of 44 caused turnovers, 73 draw controls, and 48 ground balls. Following her final season, Perroni was named a USA Lacrosse DI All-America Honorable Mention, a First Team IWLCA West/Midwest Region selection, and an Inside Lacrosse All-American Honorable Mention.

The Ontario, Canada native is a member of Canada's Women's Field and Sixes National Teams, most recently leading Lacrosse Canada to a Gold medal in the Super Sixes in October 2025. She was also named to the All-Tournament Team while helping Canada to a Silver Medal in the Atlas Games.
