Michael Ranked as Top 100 Senior by Perfect Game

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville senior right-handed pitcher Peter Michael was ranked among the top 100 seniors in college baseball by Perfect Game.
Michael entered the list at No. 78 overall on the player rankings.
The Calabasas, Calif., native returns to Louisville for his second season after transferring in from Northwestern.
In his first year wearing a Louisville uniform, Michael pitched in 14 games with 13 starts in 2025. The right-hander finished with a 4-3 overall record and 4.83 ERA, striking out 52 in 50.1 innings.
Michael tallied wins against St. John's, UIC, North Carolina and Boston College. In the victory over UNC, Michael worked 6.1 shutout frames, carrying a no-hitter into the seventh inning before exiting after allowing his first hit.
Michael and the Cardinals take the field for the first time in 2026 on Feb. 13 at Jim Patterson Stadium, as they host Michigan State for the first of a three-game series.
