Cardinals Add Transfer Suzie Tran

She began her collegiate career at Michigan
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville women's golf head coach Whitney Young is pleased to announce the addition of transfer Suzie Tran on Monday. Tran comes to Louisville after beginning her collegiate career at the University of Michigan. She will have three years of eligibility remaining starting in the 2025-26 season.
In her first collegiate season with the Wolverines, Tran competed in six tournaments, two of which the Cardinals also competed in. She made her first career appearance at the Boilermaker Classic where she had a season-best finish at 15th overall in a field of 87 players. Her season-low 18-hole score came in the first round of the Nanea Tournament where she carded a 1-under-par 71. Her season-low 54-hole score was at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational, where she was 6-over-par 222.
Prior to Michigan, Tran won the 2023 Women's Western Junior championship after winning four matches in the tournament. She qualified for the 2023 PGA Junior Championship but had to withdraw due to injury. In 2022, she earned an exemption to the Epson Tour's Circling Raven Championship but did not compete due to illness.
Tran will join the Cardinals roster that returns four players that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
