LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's golf team returned to action by finishing in a tie for 10th place at The Hayt in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on Saturday.
The Cardinals carded a 7-over-par 295 to sit in a tie with North Florida heading into Sunday's second round of action, which begins at 9 a.m.
Patrick Keeling leads the Cardinals after day one after he carded an even-par round of 72. He would birdie four holes for his round for his top performance of the spring.
Easton Johnson is tied for 25th after he notched his round of 1-over, while Cooper Claycomb is tied for 38th after his first-round score of 74.
Brady Smith shot a 76 to place in 56th, while Mads Roddik is tied for 61st after his score of 77.
