Cards Sit in a Fourth-Place Tie after Round One of the General Hackler

LOUISVILLE, Ky – Sebastian Moss carded a 2-under-par round to lead the University of Louisville men's golf team into a fourth-place tie with Furman after the first round of the General Hackler Championship at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on Sunday.
As a team, the Cardinals shot a 1-over-par 289 to sit 12 shots behind the field heading into Monday's second round. Auburn leads the tournament at 11-under-par and Duke is second at 7-under-par. Baylor is in third place at 6-under.
Moss is tied for ninth place after he shot 70 on Sunday. He would birdie three holes and only had one bogey for his round to sit in contention after 18 holes.
Cooper Claycomb is in 24th place after firing an even-par round of 72 and Easton Johnson is in 38th after his 1-over-par 73.
Brady Smith is tied for 49th at 2-over-par and Patrick Keeling rounded out the top five with his round of 83.
