
Softball Opens Home Slate Against Bellarmine

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville softball team will play host to Bellarmine in the Cardinals' 2025 home opener Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium. Admission is free.
The game will air on ACC Network Extra with Suzanne Bush handling play-by-play duties and Dr. Joanna Lane providing analysis.
QUICK HITS
• Louisville enters the game with a 10-5 overall record following a 3-2 showing at the South Florida Showdown hosted by USF last weekend. Most recently, the Cards beat Wisconsin 5-1 to close a 10-day road trip in the Sunshine State.

Scouting the Knights: Bellarmine opened the season by participating in the CSU Kickoff Tournament, hosted by Charleston Southern University. They exited the CSU Kickoff Tournament with a record of 1-4. Their lone win being a 4-3 victory over CSU on Feb. 7, 2025.
