Cards Travel to Tennessee to Face MTSU and UT Chattanooga

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team will travel to Tennessee this weekend for their first road trip of the season to face Middle Tennessee State on Friday at 5 p.m. and UT Chattanooga on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The Cardinals are coming off a successful opening weekend as they earned a 7-0 sweep of UNC Greensboro last Saturday at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. UofL only dropped one set the entire match, with newcomers Alice Otis and Elisabeth Iila securing their first doubles win in their Louisville career.
The Cards faced the Blue Raiders during the fall season in the Miami Invitational, only dropping one match to them in a hidden dual format back on September 20, 2024.
Cards vs. MTSU (0-2)
Series Record: The programs are tied 6-6
Last Meeting: January 28, 2024 | Louisville lost the match 4-3 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center
Scouting the Blue Raiders: Middle Tennessee State began the spring season in Florida, losing to Florida Gulf Coast 5-2 then later was defeated by Minnesota 4-2. Last season, MTSU finished 11-13 and lost in the first round of the CUSA Championships to Jacksonville State, 4-2.
