Cards Open Fall Season in 12th Place at the Inverness Intercollegiate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisiville men's golf team opened the fall season in 12th place after two rounds of the Inverness Intercollegiate on Monday at the Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio.
The Cards shot 22-over par after 36 holes and open the third round 26 shots off the lead, Auburn holds the top spot at 4-under-par followed by Texas Tech and Oklahoma.
 A pair of Cardinals are tied for 24th place in Sebastian Moss and Cooper Claycomb. The duo are both 3-over-par after the two shot 141 over the 36 holes. Claycomb had a second-round score of 69, the lowest round of the day for the Cards.
Louisville native Brady Smith made his collegiate debut at 7-over-par to tie for 51st place and Easton Johnson is tied for 73rd at 9-over-par.
Playing as an individual, Patrick Keeling is tied for 76th after his rounds of 10-over-par and Andrew Tan is in 83rd place.Â
