Cards in Ninth Place After Two Rounds at the Williams Cup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team is tied for ninth place after two rounds in the Williams Cup presented by STITCH Golf, hosted by the University of North Carolina at Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington.

Entering the day in ninth place, the Cardinals shot an 11-over-par 299 to sit in a tie for ninth place after the 36 holes of the three-day tournament. Florida is the leader at 24-under-par and Texas is second at 5-under-par. Notre Dame is in third place followed by NC State and North Carolina.

Andrew Tan is tied for 34th place to lead the Cardinals after he shot 77 to up his total to 148 after 36 holes of action. Easton Johnson is in a tie for 39th place after he shot 74-75=149. Cooper Claycomb dropped into a tie with Brady Smith for 46th place after Claycomb shot 72-78=150 and Smith shot the top round for the Cards on Monday with a 71.

Warren Thomis is tied for 56th place after shooting 75-76=151 over the first to days.
