LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville men's golf head coach Ryan Blagg has announced the addition of transfers Tyler Bruneau and Sean Keeling to the Cardinals' roster for the 2026-27 season.
Bruneau and Keeling bring collegiate experience from Rhode Island and Texas Tech, respectively, as Louisville continues to strengthen its lineup for next season.
"I am extremely excited about Sean and Tyler joining our program," said Blagg. "Sean and Tyler both have a wealth of success playing championship golf. The experience they bring will be a great addition to our team."
Tyler Bruneau | Junior | Rhode Island
Bruneau arrives at Louisville after two successful seasons at Rhode Island, where he emerged as one of the Atlantic 10 Conference's top players. A three-time Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week selection and Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honoree, Bruneau was a consistent presence in the lineup throughout his career with the Rams.
As a sophomore in 2025-26, Bruneau posted seven top 25 finishes, including a tie for 15th at the Atlantic 10 Championship and a tie for 24th at the National Golf Invitational. He also recorded top 20 finishes at the Rutherford Intercollegiate, Wildcat Spring Invitational and UConn Invitational while helping Rhode Island capture multiple team titles. Bruneau made an immediate impact during his freshman season, earning Atlantic 10 All-Rookie weekly recognitions after recording six top 30 finishes. His best finish came with a tie for fifth at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, and he added a tie for 22nd at the Atlantic 10 Championship.
Bruneau attended Concord-Carlisle High School and The Benjamin School before beginning his collegiate career at Rhode Island. In his junior golf career, he finished in the top 10 of the U.S. Challenge Cup four times and was the 2022 Massachusetts Amateur Qualifier champion.
Sean Keeling | Redshirt Sophomore | Texas Tech
A native of Dublin, Ireland, Keeling arrived in the United States with an accomplished amateur résumé. He trained at the prestigious Made in Holywood Golf Academy, which has produced numerous elite players, including major champion Rory McIlroy. One of Ireland's top junior golfers, Keeling captured both the Connacht U-18 Boys' Open and the Ulster Boys' Open in 2022 while competing regularly in national and international championships.
Keeling participated in the Irish Open at Royal County Down, where he practiced alongside professional golfer Padraig Harrington. Throughout his junior career, he established himself as one of the premier young players in Ireland, participating in the 2023 Junior Ryder Cup and becoming the fifth Irish-born player to compete in the event.
After arriving at Texas Tech, Keeling competed in six events as a freshman, posting a 73.7 scoring average across 14 rounds. Keeling had his first collegiate win at the OU Spring Indy and also tied for fourth at The Prestige Individual in a 39-player field after carding a final-round 69. He also registered a top 10 finish at the Maridoe Intercollegiate. He did not see action in the 2025-26 season.
