ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Louisville men's golf team punched its ticket to the NCAA Championship for just the sixth time in program history, placing second in the NCAA Athens Regional.
The Cardinals shot 26-under-par 826 as a team, the lowest regional score in program history.
"Our guys played incredible golf this week," said Head Coach Ryan Blagg. "I'm just so proud of this team. We have been preparing well all spring to peak at the right time and we can't wait to get to the NCAA Championship."
