LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team fired a second-round score of -11 under to move up to 12^th place after two rounds at the Puerto Rico Classic Tuesday at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Louisville moved up one spot to 12^th place and are 14-under-par after two rounds of play in the difficult field of competition. Virginia continues to lead the way at 35-under-par and LSU is second at 30-under-par. Ohio State is in third place and Tennessee and Oklahoma are in fourth and fifth place, respectively.

On Tuesday, Andrew Tan tied a career best with a second-round score of 68 to move into 38^th place at 4-under-par after 36 holes. Easton Johnson and Cooper Claycomb carded second round tallies of 69 to sit in 30^th and 53^rd place, respectively. Johnson is tops for the Cards with a score of 5-under-par while Claycomb is at 1-under-par.

Warren Thomis and Brady Smith are tied for 52^nd at 1-under-par heading into Wednesday's final round.

The Cardinals return to action Wednesday morning with the final 18 holes of the tournament.
