ACC Announces Volleyball TV Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- The University of Louisville volleyball team will appear three times on the Atlantic Coast Conference Network in 2024 as announced by the league office.Â
ACC Network (ACCN), the 24/7 national platform dedicated to ACC sports, will present an extensive 2024 fall sports schedule which includes 87 field hockey, men's and women's soccer and volleyball matchups on ACCN as part of coverage across ESPN platforms. Additionally, ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), the network's digital arm available on the ESPN app, will carry an additional 460+ ACC events.
The volleyball slate begins with Florida State hosting Georgia on Sunday, Sept. 1 (3 p.m.) and continues two days later with SMU hosting Nebraska on Tuesday, Sept. 3 (7 p.m.). Plenty of intriguing matchups highlight the volleyball on ACCN schedule, including Penn State at Pittsburgh on Wednesday, Sept. 18 (7 p.m.), Georgia Tech at Louisville on Sunday, Oct. 6 (1:30 p.m.), Stanford at SMU on Wednesday, Oct. 16 (7 p.m.) and Pittsburgh at Louisville on Wednesday, Nov. 27 (7 p.m.).
The Cards will appear on ESPN when they host Creighton and Stanford and ESPN2 when they host Wisconsin and Tennessee. The Cards will appear on the Big Ten Network at the Penn State match. In addition, UofL volleyball will be streamed on ACCNX for the home matches versus Northern Iowa, Cal, Clemson, Wake Forest, NC State, Duke and UNC.Â

• Dani Busboom Kelly is in her eighth season at the helm and has guided the Cardinals to a pair of Final Four appearances, four Elite Eights, and four ACC titles.
• The Cardinals are coming off a 27-5 campaign in 2023 where they reached their highest national ranking of the year at No. 2 and a final national ranking of No. 6
• UofL put up an ACC record of 15-3, finishing third and made the Cards' fourth trip to the Elite Eight, ninth trip to the Sweet Sixteen and 32nd NCAA appearance.
• ACC Year End Awards included Player of the Year Anna DeBeer and Defensive Player of the Year: Elena Scott. DeBeer was also named AVCA East Region Player of the Year. Elle Glock, Charitie Luper, Aiko Jones, Cara Cresse and Elena Scott were voted to the First Team and Phekran Kong was voted HM All-East Region.
• The Cardinals return five starters and their libero to the 2024 roster.
• Louisville was picked to finish third in the ACC preseason poll behind Pitt and Stanford. Cara Cresse, Anna DeBeer, Charitie Luper and Elena Scott were named to the Preseason All-ACC team.
• UofL will open the season by hosting the AVCA First Serve Showcase at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cards will face Wisconsin on Aug. 27. Louisville will also serve as the host site for the 2024 NCAA Division I Volleyball Championship which will take place Dec. 19 and 22.
