Cardinals Unveil New Volleyball Floor

LOUISVILLE, Ky.-- L&N Federal Credit Union Arena will have a new look as University of Louisville volleyball team has unveiled a new Taraflex competition floor with a new design. The Cardinals have a new design for their KFC Yum! Center floor as well.

The Cardinals' floor at the L&N Arena will now feature the Fighting Cardinal logo in the center with a wood grain look on the inbounds portion of the playing surface and a black border with Louisville word mark on the end zones. The Taraflex floor that will be used in the six matches contested at the KFC Yum! Center will be the same but will have a red border around the court.

Taraflex is a versatile, high-performance sports flooring that provides shock absorption which reduces injury risks as the padding makes diving, sliding and jumping easier on the players' bodies. The FIVB selected Taraflex for the 1976 Olympic Games and have been part of 12 consecutive Olympics. It is home court for over 75 NCAA Division I facilities and is the Official Championship Court for Men's and Women's NCAA DI Volleyball.
