
Women’s Golf Has Six Named to All-ACC Academic Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The ACC announced the women's golf All-ACC Academic team on Monday morning and the Lousiville Cardinals were well represented. A total of six Cardinals were named to the team in Beatriz Barrios, Gabbi Bentancourt, Millie Cottrell, Carmen Griffiths, Hana Ryskova and Rylee Suttor.
Barrios and Cottrell were both in their first seasons with the Cardinals and made the team for the first time. Bentancourt, Griffiths, Ryskova and Suttor all made their second all-time appearance on the All-ACC Academic Team.
This past semester, women's golf posted a 3.579 team GPA. They had eight members who earned AD Honor Roll status, which is a 3.0 GPA for the semester and one student-athlete had a perfect 4.0 GPA in the spring.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
