
Ryskova Tied for Fourth After First Round of NCAA Regional

Ryskova finished 2-under-par in the opening round in East Lansing
EAST LANSING, Mich. — The University of Louisville women's golf team has two individuals representing the Cards in the East Lansing NCAA Regional this week. After the first round of play at the Forest Akers Golf Course, Hana Ryskova leads the pair of Cardinals as she sits in the top-10.
Ryskova carded a 2-under-par 70 after the first 18 holes of play on Monday. She started on the back nine and finished the day with five birdies, including three over the final nine holes. Ryskova is tied for 4th overall for the entire field and is the third highest individual competing in the regional.
Carmen Griffiths was also out on the course for the Cardinals in the NCAA Regional. She had three birdies on the day but finished 5-over-par 77 and is tied for 51st overall.
Ryskova and Griffiths will be back on the course tomorrow for the second of three rounds at the East Lansing Regional. Fans can follow the live stats here and also follow along with our social media channels.
