Cardinals Tied for 10th Place After Second Day of ACC Championships

Rylee Suttor carded a 1-under-par 71 in the second round
WILMINGTON, N.C. — The University of Louisville women's golf team is tied for 10th place after the second round of the 2024 ACC Championships. Being held at Porters Creek Country Club in Wilmington, the Cardinals shot 7-over par 295 as a team in the second round Friday afternoon and are 15-over-par 591 through the two days.
Rylee Suttor had her best ever round at the ACC Championships as she tallied a 1-under-par 71 on Friday. She had three birdies on the day and is tied for 21st overall at 1-over-par through 36 holes.
Carmen Griffiths is a few strokes behind Suttor at 4-over-par through the first two rounds and tied for 35th overall. She shot a 3-over-par 75 in the second round. One stroke behind her is Hana Ryskova at 5-over-par and she is tied for 40th overall. She had three birdies in Friday's round and finished 4-over-par 76.
Beatriz Barrios put together a nice round on Friday as she shot a 1-over-par 73. She is tied with Ryskova at 40th overall and 5-over-par through 36 holes.
Gabbi Bentancourt made her first appearance of the weekend on Friday and finished with a 9-over-par 81.
