Cabello Earns Fourth ACC Freshman of the Week Honor

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville setter Nayelis Cabello was tabbed the ACC Freshman of the Week.
Cabello was named the ACC Freshman of the Week for the fourth time this year. The setter out of Clermont, Florida, tabbed 33 assists and 10 digs in a 2-0 week for Louisville. Cabello currently has 412 assists and 114 digs on the season as the Cardinals continue to run a 6-2 offense.Â
Seven ACC teams are ranked in the latest AVCA/TARFLEX Coaches Poll, headlined by No. 1 Pitt, No. 4 Louisville, No. 6 Stanford and No. 10 SMU in the top 10. The seven teams are tied for the most of any conference this week, while the four in the top 10 are the most in the nation for any conference this week. Conference play continues this week beginning on Wednesday, November 6, when in-state rivals Virginia Tech and Virginia face off at 6 p.m. on ACCNX. The rest of the conference begins the week on Friday, November 8.
