Cards Close the Fall Season with a Sixth-Place Finish at the Williams Cup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's golf team closed the fall season by finishing in a tie for sixth place at the Williams Cup at the Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington, N.C., on Tuesday.

The Cardinals shot a final round score of 6-under-par 282 to move up two spots into a tie with Notre Dame.

The Cards shot 296-297-282=875 to close the tournament at 11-over-par. North Carolina edged out Arizona State by one shot to win the tournament.

Sebastian Mossshot a 4-under-par 212 to finish in seventh place in his final match of the fall. He carded a final day total of 68 to post his third top-10 finish of the fall.

Cooper Claycomb posted one of his better rounds of the fall with a final round score of 70. He closed the tournament with a 75-74-70=219 to end the tournament in a tie for 19th place.

Easton Johnson finished in a tie for 26th place with a 5-over-par 221 and did shoot a final round score of even-par on Tuesday.

Brady Smith tied for 51st place at 10-over-par and Mads Roddik closed the fall in a tie for 59th at 12-over-par.
