Charitie Luper Added to AVCA Player of the Year Watchlist

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville senior outside hitter Charitie Luper has been added to the 2024 American Volleyball Coaches Association's Watch List for its 2024 Division I Player of the Year Award.
Luper, a high-flying outside hitter has a team-high 171 kills, hits.264 with six aces, 118 digs and 26 blocks for the No. 4-ranked Louisville Cardinals.
The inaugural list, which was revealed Sept. 20, included 36 players. The committee added an 16 other players today  The Watch List will be narrowed down in November.
The last step is revealing the names of the finalists, which will be released before the AVCA Convention. Then, the 2024 AVCA Player of the Year will be announced on Friday, Dec. 20, in Louisville, KY, during the Convention.
