
Men's Tennis Announces 2023 Fall Schedule

ITA All-American, Fall National Championships highlight fall season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville's men's tennis head coach Rodrigo da Silva has released the Cardinals' 2023 fall schedule. The fall campaign includes eight tournaments, culminating with the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Fall National Championships.
The Cards will open the fall season in the Golden State at the Pepperdine Invitational September 22-24.
The following weekend, Louisville will split off with some Cardinals traveling to the Alabama Invitational while others will begin the ITA All-American Championship in Tulsa, Okla. The Crimson Tide tournament is just three days while the All-Americans starts September 29 and runs through October 7.
The annual ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships will be held in Chattanooga, Tenn., on October 12-16.
Louisville will split up again in October as the International Tennis Federation simultaneously hosts ITF M15 tournaments in Norman, Okla., and Tallahassee, Fla.
The ITA Fall National Championship will be in San Diego, Calif., this fall November 1-5. Cardinals not participating in the championship will wrap up the fall at the Notre Dame Invitational November 3-5.

Louisville Men's Tennis is coming off a 17-12 season in 2023, including an NCAA tournament bid and appearance in the Regional Final. Two Cardinals are ranked in the ITA Preseason Singles Rankings: Etienne Donnet at No. 24 and Natan Rodrigues at No. 42. Rodrigues was paired with Fabien Salle in doubles in 2023, and the duo advanced all the way to the NCAA Championship Quarterfinals. The Cardinals graduated part of the quarterfinal's doubles duo in Salle, along with Sergio Hernandez, David Mizrahi and Alex Wesbrooks. Rodrigues and Matthew Fung have reunited and are ranked No. 27 in the ITA Preseason Doubles Rankings. Will Mayew and Andre' Steinbach are part of the five returners on the 2023-24 squad while head coach Rodrigo da Silva added five newcomers to the mix.
