
Cardinals Finish Fourth at Boilermaker Classic

Hana Ryskova finished third overall at 6-under-par
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The University of Louisville women's golf team saved its best round for last and finished fourth overall at the Boilermaker Classic at the Kampen-Cosler Course. The Cardinals shot a tournament-best 287 in the final round after a 292 in the first round and 297 in the second.
Individually, Hana Ryskova led the Cardinals as she finished her third round under par to have all her rounds at the Boilermaker Classic come in under par. She shot a 1-under 71 in the final round to finish the tournament at 6-under-par 210. She set a career-best 54-hole score of 210 and her third-place finish tied a career high for individual tournament finish.
Rylee Suttor joined Ryskova with a top-20 finish after she finished in a tie for 15th with a 2-over par 218. She shot a tournament-best 2-under par 70 in the final round on Tuesday. Carmen Griffiths finished tied for 22nd overall as she also had her best round of the tournament on Tuesday. Griffiths shot a team-best 4-under-par 68 on Tuesday to finish the tournament at 5-over-par 221.
Molly Lyne finished tied for 60th at 13-over-par 229 and Gabbi Bentancourt rounded out the Cards in 75th with a 20-over-par 236.
The Cardinals come back to campus and will be back in action in a few weeks when they head south to Franklin, Tennessee. The Cards will compete at the Mason Rudolph Classic from Sept. 22-24.
