
Women’s Golf Heads South for Mason Rudolph Championship

This is the second tournament of the fall season for the Cardinals
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The University of Louisville women's golf team is heading back out on the course this weekend for its second tournament of the fall season. The Cards are traveling to Franklin, Tenn. to take part in the Mason Rudolph Championship. The three-day tournament will begin on Friday and will be played at the par-72, 6,491 yards Vanderbilt Legends Club North Course.
The Cardinals opened the 2023-24 season at the Boilermaker Classic and as a team, they finished fourth overall out of the 15-team field. Hana Ryskova led the Cards all weekend and finished in third overall with a 6-under-par 213. The 213 is a career-best for a 54 hole tournament. Rylee Suttor and Carmen Griffiths joined Ryskova in the Top-25 as Suttor finished tied for 15th with a 2-over-par 218 and Griffiths was tied for 22nd with a 5-over-par 221.
The Cardinals competed in the Mason Rudolph Championship back in the 2021-22 season and they finished tied for ninth of the 15 teams that were competing. Ryskova led the Cards after shooting a career-best 66 in the final round. She finished tied for 23rd with an even-par 216. Griffiths also competed for the Cards and she finished with a 2-over-par 218.
