Cardinals Fall 4-0 to No. 39 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 4-0 to No. 39-ranked Florida State Saturday afternoon at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles point to start the match. The No. 66-ranked FSU pair of Anna Arkadianou and Millie Bissett blanked Louisville's Jamilah Snells and Cici Xin 6-0 at No. 2. Cardinals Sasha Gorchanyuk and Maria Campos fell 6-2 to FSU's Kianah Motosono and Olympe Lancelot.

The Seminoles scored the first singles point when FSU's Alice Amendola won 6-0, 6-1 at the No. 6 slot. On the No. 1 court, FSU's No. 79-ranked Vic Allen defeated No. 109-ranked Andrea Di Palma 6-0, 6-3. The match was clinched on court four where FSU's Kristyna Lavickova rolled 6-2, 6-2 over Tyra Richardson.
