Louisville Women's Tennis Set to Host No. 22 Syracuse and No. 47 Boston

Sunday marks Senior Day for the Cardinals
LOUISVILLE, KY.- The University of Louisville women's team will end the regular season at home this weekend as the Cardinals are set to face Atlantic Coast Conference opponents No. 47 Boston College at 4:00 ET on Friday and No. 22 Syracuse at 11:30 ET on Sunday for Senior Day.
The Cardinals (8-13, 0-11 ACC) fell 4-0 to No. 39 Florida State on Saturday at Scott Speicher Memorial. The Cardinals dropped the double point to start the match as the Florida State duo of Anna Arkadianou and Millie Brisset rolled over 6-0 Jamilah Snells and Cici Xin. The Louisville twosome of Sasha Gorchanyuk and Maria Campos fell 6-2 at No. 3.
The Cardinals had a similar storyline for the singles. At No. 6 singles, Maria Campos fell 6-0 in set one and 6-1 in set 2 against Alice Amendola. Also at No.1 singles, Andrea DiPalma ranked 109 for singles fell 6-0 and 6-3 to Vic Allen of Florida State.
Boston College (10-9,3-8 ACC) split their matchups over the weekend, earning the upset    of Wake Forest with a 5-2 victory on the road. Boston College Eagles then fell 7-0 to the No. 7 North Carolina State Wolfpack on Sunday afternoon. Â
Syracuse (11-7, 4-9 ACC) had the last week off, but the previous weekend No. 28 Syracuse fell, 6-1, to No. 7 North Carolina State at the JW Isenhour Tennis Center in Raleigh, N.C March 31st. The lone win for the Orange came in the fourth singles flight, as Polina Kozyrev defeated nationally ranked Gina Dittman (NC State), 6-4, 6-4. The Orange were defeated 5-2 by No. 27 Wake Forest.
