Bio
2022-23: Campos finished with six wins in singles competition playing at No. 3, 4, 5, and 6. Campos won the first two singles games of the season on January 20, defeating NIU 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, and Bellarmine 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles. On January 28, she won 7-5, 6-0 against Eastern Kentucky at the No. 3 spot. Playing No. 6 singles, she defeated an opponent from Memphis 4-6, 6-4, 6-1. On March 12, she beat Xavier 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles. Campos played at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles with partner Sasha Gorchanyuk winning three matches. The duo helped the Cardinals win the first round of the ACC Tournament with a 6-1 win over Boston College at No. 3 doubles.
Previous School: Campos transferred from Colorado University where she became the only CU athlete in school history to play and win in every singles position in 2021. She finished with an 11-8 individual record and went 8-12 in doubles play. Campos started the 2021 season winning eight of nine matches, all ending in two sets. In 2020, she led the team with a 10-3 doubles record and tied for the most wins on the team.
Prep: Campos attended Laurel Springs High School and was a full scholarship holder at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch. She was UTR 11 and a five-star recruit as she was ranked 58th nationally. Campos was a National L1 Champion in Mexico with doubles wins in ITF Level 4 competition in El Salvador and runner-up in the ITF South America Regional.
Personal: Daughter of Marco Campos. She has two younger siblings. Major is Political Science. Born on July 21, 2000.
