LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 41 Boston College Friday afternoon at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.

The Cards dropped the doubles point although the No. 2 pair of Jamilah Snells and Cici Xin beat Haily Wilcox and Seren Agar 6-3 at the No. 2 slot.

Boston College scored the first singles point when Jamilah Snells retired on court two. No. 65-ranked Marice Aguiar defeated Louisville's Andrea DiPalma on court one 7-5, 6-4. The Eagles clinched the match when Sasha Gorchanyuk fell to BC's Natalie Eordekian 1-6, 6-2, 6-2.

The Cardinals are back in action on Sunday against Syracuse. Senior Day will begin at 11:30 a.m. at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
