Rodrigues and Salle move to No. 12 in doubles, Donnet, Salle, Rodrigues ranked among top 90 in singles
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following the conclusion of the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships, the University of Louisville men's tennis team stands at No. 34 Intercollegiate Tennis Association team rankings released on April 25. The Cardinals' doubles team of Natan Rodrigues and Fabien Salle stand at No. 12 while Salle, Rodrigues and Etienne Donnet are all among the nationally-ranked singles players.
The tandem of Rodrigues and Salle slid one spot in the doubles rankings while teaming for a 23-7 record and going 7-3 as Louisville's top-seeded team.
Donnet stands at No. 42 in the singles rankings with a 25-8 overall record and an 18-5 mark in dual matches. Salle is slotted at No. 58 with a 27-9 singles record and a 15-5 tally in dual matches. Rodrigues rounds out the ranked singles players at No. 85 with a 19-12 overall singles record and going 8-9 in dual matches mostly at No. 1.
UofL (16-11) reached the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament, defeating Notre Dame before falling 4-0 eventual runner-up Duke. The Cards will learn their NCAA fate on May 1 at 6:30 p.m. when the NCAA Championship selection show airs on NCAA.com.
