
Cards Set for the General Hackler

CONWAY, S.C. – The University of Louisville men's golf team will compete the annual General Hackler Championship presented by Carolina Wealth Advisors on March 13-14 at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The two-day event will feature 36 holes of play on Monday, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday. A shotgun start is slated for both days beginning at 9 a.m. ET.
The highly-competitive field will consist of 14 teams, of which eight are ranked among the top 50 teams in the nation. Leading that group will be sixth-ranked, and reigning 2022 Hackler Champions, Auburn University. Other nationally-ranked teams in the field are Virginia (No. 16), North Florida (No. 34), Duke (No. 35), Louisville (No. 39), Liberty (No. 41), East Tennessee (No. 45), and South Carolina (No. 49).
Also joining the Cardinals in the field are Charlotte, East Carolina, Furman, Kent State, and North Carolina State.
The Cardinals lineup will include their top two players Max Kennedy and Jiri Zuska who have performed at a high level this season. Kennedy leads the way with a 71.57 stroke average, while Zuska is second at 71.76.
Louisville is coming off a seventh-place finish at the difficult Prestige at the PGA West's Norman Course.
