
Four Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of Louisville volleyball players Anna DeBeer, Elle Glock, Charitie Luper and Cara Cresse were named to the CSC Academic All-District List.Â
Anna DeBeer was named the ACC Player of the Year, was just voted to the NCAA All-Regional Team and was an AVCA East Region Player of the Year. Elle Glock was an AVCA First Team All-East Region, second team All-ACC selection. Luper was a First Team All-East region and First Team All-ACC. Cara Cresse was First Team AVCA All-East Region, Second Team All-ACC and was voted to the NCAA All-Regional team.  Â
The 2023 Academic All-District Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. The CSC Academic All-District teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages. Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
Criteria

Criteria
- An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
- Athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's sets played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's total matches.
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
