Cara Cresse Named ACC Defensive Player of the Week

Cresse tallied three blocks, two solos, against Duke on Friday and eight blocks against North Carolina on Sunday, as Louisville posted back-to-back sweeps. The junior averaged 1.83 blocks per set and accounted for 3.92 points per set. The 6-6 Fort Wayne, Indiana, native added 17 kills to hit .667 against the Tar Heels and .538 against the Blue Devils with just two errors. She leads the ACC and is No. 2 in the nation with her overall hitting percentage of .453.
