Moss Shoots Even Par After Two Rounds of the Williams Cup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sebastian Moss of the University of Louisville men's golf team fires an even-par 144 to pace the Cardinals after two rounds of the Williams Cup in Wilmington, N.C.

As a team, the Cardinals sit in seventh place after shooting 19-over-par after 36 holes. North Carolina, who has won the last two tournaments, is on pace to win again after shooting 16-under-par to hold a 15 stroke lead over Auburn. Arizona State is in third place and Missouri and North Florida are tied tied for fourth place.

Moss is tied for 10 after shooting 69-75=144. The junior was on fire on the first 18 holes by carding a 3-under-par but struggled during play in the aftenoon to enter the final round eight shots back.

Max Kennedy is tied for 36th after after shooting a 7-over-par 151 and Cooper Claycomb is tied for 36th after his 9-over-par 153. Mads Roddik is tied for 42nd and Clay Pendergrass is tied for 52nd.

The Cardinals are paired in the final round with Florida and North Carolina-Wilmington and are scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m.
