Cardinals Finish 12th at Windy City Collegiate

Hana Ryskova led the Cards with 3-under-par, 213
GOLF, Ill. — The University of Louisville women's golf team finished up the final round of the Windy City Collegiate on Tuesday. The Cardinals had three golfers who completed their second rounds early in the morning after it was suspended due to darkness on Monday and then the rest of the team completed the final 18 holes of the tournament. Louisville finished tied for 12th overall as a team at 3-over-par 867.
Hana Ryskova led the Cardinals for the second tournament this season and she finished tied for 27th overall at 3-under-par 213. She shot a 1-under-par 71 in the final round on Tuesday and finished off her second round earlier in the morning at 3-over-par 75.
Carmen Griffiths also finished off her second round in the morning as she completed a 2-under-par 70. In the final round, she was 5-over-par 77 and she finished tied for 53rd at 3-over-par 219 for the tournament.
Rylee Suttor was the third Cardinal golfer that needed to finish her second round in the morning as she was 1-over-par 71. In her final round, she shot even-par 72 to finish 5-over-par 221 for the tournament and was tied for 63rd.
Gabbi Bentancourt carded a 3-over-par 75 in the final round and she finished tied with Griffiths at 53rd overall with a 3-over-par 219. Beatriz Barrios rounded out the Cardinals in a tie for 71st at 9-over-par 225 for the tournament after a 2-over-par 74 in the final round on Tuesday.
The Cardinals return to campus to prepare for their next tournament, which will be held next weekend. The Cardinals will travel to Knoxville, Tennessee to take part in the Mercedes Benz Intercollegiate, which starts on Sunday, October 15.
