Cards Sit in 10th after Two Rounds of the Fighting Irish Classic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -Â The University of Louisville men's golf team shot 16-over to sit in 10th place after two rounds of the Fighting Irish Classic in South Bend, Indiana, on Sunday .
Playing at the par-70, 7,023-yard Warren Golf Course, the Cardinals shot 295-281=576 to enter the final round of action 20 shots off the lead. Indiana is the leader at 4-under-par, while Tennessee is second after its even-par round and Northwestern is in third place at 1-over-par. Notre Dame and Iowa State enter the final round in fourth and fifth place, respectively.Â
Louisville is paired with Rutgers and Utah in the final round, which begins at 9:10 a.m. off the tenth hole.
Coming off a pair of victories, Sebastian Moss is tied for 23rd with teammate Cooper Claycomb after both shooting a 2-over par 142. After each player opened at 4-over-par, the two rebounded to shoot a 2-unde-par 68 in the second round of action.
Max Kennedy is tied for 43rd place after shooting a 5-over-par 145 and Clay Pendergrass is tied for 56th place after shooting a 7-over-par 147.Easton Johnson rounded out the top five by finishing in a tie for 76th place.
