Louisville Lacrosse Announces 2023 Schedule

The Cardinals open up the season at home on Feb. 10
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Eight ranked opponents, including four in the top 10 highlights the 2023 University of Louisville women's lacrosse schedule, UofL head coach Scott Teeter announced on Wednesday.
The Cardinals will also face seven NCAA Tournament teams (six from the ACC) from a year ago, including national champion North Carolina and runner-up Boston College.
The Cards open the spring schedule with three consecutive home games, hosting No. 10 Denver on Feb. 10 at 1 p.m., No. 24 Colorado on Feb. 12 at noon, and Lindenwood on Feb. 19 at 1 p.m.
The Cardinals will hit the road the last weekend in February with matchups at No. 17 Virginia on Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. and Vanderbilt on Feb. 27 at 2 p.m.
UofL will return home for two games, hosting Cincinnati on Mar. 3 and playing its first ACC home game versus Pittsburgh on Mar. 5 with both games being played at 4 p.m. at the Louisville Lacrosse Stadium.
The Cards head north to Massachusetts to play No. 4 Boston College on March 11 at 11 a.m. UofL returns home for a game against the returning ACC Champions, No. 1 North Carolina, on March 16 at 1 p.m. The Cardinals take a break from conference play to compete against Marquette on March 19 at 1 p.m. before hosting No. 6 Syracuse on March 25 at noon.
Louisville will head to Ohio to begin a three-match road stretch, starting with Ohio State on March 28 at 4 p.m. The Cards finish out conference play with a game at Clemson on Apr. 1 at 1 p.m. and at Virginia Tech on Apr. 8 at noon.
The Cardinals host their final home game on Apr. 15 against No. 13 Duke at 1 p.m. before wrapping up the regular season at No. 14 Notre Dame on Apr. 20 at 7 p.m.
The first round of the ACC Tournament will take place April 23, with the remainder of the ACC Tournament taking place at Charlotte, N.C. on April 26-30.
The Cardinals return 25 players from last season's team that finished 7-10 overall.
