
Donnet Earns All-ACC Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C.- The University of Louisville's Etienne Donnet was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis first team as announced by the league office today.
Donnet (Lyon, France) takes home his first All-ACC honor after compiling a 16-11 overall singles record and a 14-10 mark in dual matches as the Cardinals' top-seeded player. He posted six wins against ACC opponents including three against nationally-ranked players. The junior transfer from Oklahoma State spent eight weeks in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles rankings, finishing the season at No. 88. He was named ACC Co-Singles Player of the Week on March 8.
Additionally, Donnet led the Cards with 12 doubles wins, including five against ACC opponents.

The Cardinals achieved impressive results on the court in the 2021-22 campaign, finishing the season with an 19-9 overall record and an at-large berth in the NCAA tournament. Louisville reached the semifinals of the ACC Championship for the first time in program history after earning the No. 4 seed with a program-best nine wins in conference play.
The Cards returned to the NCAA tournament for the first time since the 2017 season and were one of the best home teams in the ACC, posting a 12-1 record at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. As a team, the Cardinals appeared in the ITA team rankings 11 times, with a season-high ranking of 23.
