The teams will open the series on Friday at 5 p.m. with game two taking place Saturday at 1 p.m. and the finale slated for Sunday at 12 p.m. Admission is free.
Friday and Sunday's games will be show on the ACC Network with Saturday's contest airing on ACC Network Extra.

NOTE CARDS
• The Cardinals bring a 21-17 overall record into the game following a 9-0 loss to No. 8/12 Kentucky in midweek game. Louisville also carries a 5-7 mark in ACC play and stands eighth in the conference after taking two of three games against North Carolina last weekend.
• Louisville is led offensively by graduate senior Carmyn Greenwood who is hitting at a .419 clip with a team and ACC-best 54 hits. She also leads the team with 42 runs and 43 RBIs and stands second with 11 home runs. She is tied for second in the NCAA and leads the ACC with 113 total bases.
• Greenwood is currently on a nine-game on-base streak.
• Redshirt senior RHP Taylor Roby has shouldered the bulk of the pitching duties and holds a 3.37 ERA with 93 strikeouts in 116.1 innings of work. She also leads the team with 13 home runs and stands second with 38 RBIs. Last weekend, she notched a pair of complete game wins to help the Cards take the series against North Carolina.
• Freshman Dylann Cravens recently snapped an eight-game hitting streak and 16 game reached base streak.
• The Cardinals starting lineup frequently features four freshmen.
• Louisville was picked to finish sixth in the ACC in a preseason vote by the league's head coaches.
• Carmyn Greenwood was selected to the Preseason All-ACC Softball team.

THE APRILE ERA
• Holly Aprile is in her fourth season as UofL's head coach. With the 2020 campaign suspended prior to its midway point due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Aprile has compiled an 86-78-1 record and guided the Cardinals to an NCAA regional final appearance in 2019.
• Prior to her arrival at Louisville, Aprile, the 2018 ACC Coach of the Year spent 10 seasons (2009-18) as Pittsburgh's head coach and five years (2004-08) as an assistant. In 2018, she earned ACC Coach of the Year honors after leading the Panthers to the 2018 ACC Coastal Division title and a runner-up finish in the ACC tournament.

CARDS AGAINST THE OPPONENT - SYRACUSE
Series Record: Louisville leads 24-11
Last Meeting: March 15-17, 2019- Louisville took two of three games at Ulmer Stadium, winning 4-2 and 8-0 in the first two and falling 4-2 in eight innings in the series finale.
Scouting the Orange: Syracuse brings a 20-15 overall record into the weekend following a midweek double header split against Canisius. The Orange are 3-10 in ACC play, currently placing 11th in league standings.
• Angel Jasso carries a .380 batting average with a team-high 19 stolen bases. Neli Casares-Maher leads the team with eight home runs, 28 RBIs and 31 runs on the season.
• Lindsey Hendrix has made a team-high 17 appearances in the circle and carries a 7-4 record and 3.97 ERA with 74 strikeouts in 65.2 innings.
