Caroline Blalock Named Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville lacrosse graduate midfielder Caroline Blalock has been named to the Inside Lacrosse Women Preseason All-American Third Team.

Blalock is a five-year captain for the Cardinals and was named IWLCA All-Region and All-ACC Second Team last season as a senior after leading the team with 11 assists, 32 ground balls, 39 draw controls and 21 caused turnovers, while also turning in the second most goals (30) and assists (41).

The honor marks the second consecutive season Blalock has been tabbed a preseason All-American.

Louisville opens its season with a two-game road trip, kicking the year off against Colorado on Feb. 11 and Denver on Feb. 13. The Cardinals play their first home game on Feb. 18, hosting Marquette to start a five-game home stand.
