Caroline Blalock Named ILWomen Midseason All-American

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse senior midfielder Caroline Blalock has been named an ILWomen Midseason Report: Women's DI Media Second Team All-American.
She is one of 16 student-athletes from the Atlantic Coast Conference to earn first or second team honors.
In addition, ILWomen also listed Blalock as one of 10 players to receive votes for the Midseason Breakthrough Player of the Year.

Blalock, a four-year captain for the Cardinals, ranks sixth in the ACC with 2.1 ground balls per game and ninth with 1.25 caused turnovers per game. She has 22 goals and 10 assists on the season, both which rank 12th in the league.

She has goals in 10 of 12 games, including eight multi-goal games. Â

The Cardinals continue their three-game homestand as Syracuse comes to UofL Lacrosse Stadium for the first of two meetings on Friday, April 16 at 3 p.m. ET.
