Louisville takes down ACC leader 25-18, 25-15, 25-17
LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The No. 14-ranked University of Louisville knocked off ACC leader No. 22 Georgia Tech 25-18, 25-15, 25-17 in conference volleyball play Friday evening in the L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.

The Cardinals move to 11-2 on the season and 10-2 in the ACC. UofL hit .260 as a team with 12 blocks and seven aces. Anna DeBeer paced the offense for the Cardinals with 11 kills, three aces and a block while Nena Mbonu added sevens kills. Amaya Tillman led the defense with seven blocks with teammate Aiko Jones six blocks and adding seven kills.

Georgia Tech moves to 11-3, 11-3 in the ACC. The Yellowjackets hit .011 with seven blocks and were hampered by eight service errors. Julia Bergmann hit 12 kills and two blocks with teammate Mariana Brambilla contributing eight kills.

UofL plays North Carolina State Sunday at 2 p.m. in L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.
